Eligibility

Football practice is starting all over the country. Many issues have come up with the eligibility of freshman players. Additional comments or questions on this issue or any other NCAA issue welcomed.

my son goes to a very strong private school, where grade scale is 94-100=A, 69-93=B ect. He scored 20 on the ACT but only had 1.8 on core unknown to us[my fault]the question I have is there any way to apeal him not qualifing because a c here is like an A in many schools plus other schools 90-100=A. Does not seem right to punish him for attending a hard school and let someone in who has B;s in an easy ond.
very upset in Mississippi

Can you play college sports after playing professionally? My daughter knows a guy who claims to have played professional soccer in Europe, but is now on scholarship at a division 3 school - is that possible?

I am a Junior computer science major who needs to take 2 computer courses per semester to graduate. I also need to take 1 graduation required course each semester to graduate. This allows me to choose electives to fill a 17 credit hour semester. I am interested in art, so I signed up for that. I am being told by my coach I am ineligible because I have not declared an art minor. Can someone please explain this to me? I thought I only needed to complete a major.

I am in my last season of DII softball...4 years. Last season, I decided to play basketball too. Will I still be eligible to play basketball after I graduate since I've already played four years of one sport?

Upon entering College, I filed out my NCAA clearing house form(2002) and was cleared to participate. However, during the 4 year duration I spent as an undergraduate, unfortunately, I did not participate in any way because the coach closed open tryouts indefinately with no just reason.
However, I'm planning on attending Graduate School to obtain a Master's Degree in due time, and am wondering: Am I still elgibile to participate in playing college basketball as a graduate student given the prior circumstances? Am I facing a limited time frame? and is it possible to justify the prior mentioned to the NCAA with the possibility of an extension of elgibility if as of now, no elgibility remains?

THANKYOU

With 20 seconds left in the game in the forth quarter does the clock stop if you are still in bounds or out?
